Chilipepper -- Anyone using one of these devices? It pumps water from your
hot water line back to the cold water line circulating the cold water to
the hot water tank. http://WWW.chilies.come/ I have seen a similar
device (however I do not know the make) at Home Depot.

My concern -- how much will this device increase the pressure on the water
lines? I did not see any data to this effect in the web site.

I have plastic piping in my house. It was installed in the house and I am
the house's second owner, about 5 hers old. I have heard horror stories of
plastic pipes. I do not want to increase the possibility that I might
experience a break. Someday in the future I want to replace the pipes with
copper. This future update will require some wallboard and bath tiles to
be removed so there will be additional cost other than just replacement of
the lines.

   Cheers,
