Mark,
I'm back "up" with ECS; abiet version 4.3.x but back up nonetheless!!!
Just finished 3 days uninterrupted running (I was out of town) and system is
still sound with same (65%) of resources available.
I'll be working to redo my entire CFG file to reflect this house and will be
ordering/installing Levitron "real" rocker type switches (since I'm only
2300 sq.ft., it's no big deal).
Several questions for you:
1. I'm now running Ocelot with SECU-16. I have a small program pre-loaded
into the ocelot which handles repetetive, mundane tasks from before I got
ECS up and running. I've left that programming intact. Should I??? Do you
think that could cause any problems? I look at it as a redundant "back up"
to ECS. Not any of the "bells and whistles" but only the bare
necessities....
2. I'm "considering" a couple of leapord touchscreens. Does ECS support
transmitting/positioning TEXT to the screens? I know it has/can be done, as
I saw some stuff on the future standard website about it. If the answer is
"no", then do you need some test hardware to implement/test such functions?
or are you interested in adding that capability at this time?
Not sure when I'll get around to moving over to 4.4.x, but I do know it will
be sometime within the next 2 months or so.
Looking forward to your omnipotent answers, as always (very big grin!)
Thanks and keep up the good work!!!
Bill Walters
