Mark -
Never mind; I found the answer in the DOCS (of ALL places! Jeesh!).
I'll just wire up a couple of opto-isolators to act as "relay closures" to the AppDig
box and be done with it.
Sorry for the question when the answer was already so readily available!
Bill

Subject: [ECS] A/D conversion times
Mark,
I'm using an Ocelot with SECU16 module. AppDig tells me that I must use "A/D" mode
of an input port when testing (monitoring) a standard TTL signal (+5 or 0, which represents
OFF and ON in this particular case - homebrew digital BOB with SmartLink sensing probes
for TV, Stereo, VCR, DBS and DVD).
QUESTION: How often does ECS "sample" an Analog-Input-K type item? Once per pass?
Once per minute? Something in between? Is the time between samples a settable parameter
somewhere?
I'm using ECS 4.3.004 (yea, I know, I should "upgrade" but I'm just now getting things
hooked up and wanted to work with what I knew worked (or t-thought- would work!!!)
<GRIN!>
Thanks,
Bill Walters
