Subject: From: Date: | Re: [ECS] general comments about ECS joerut.epix.net Mon, 13 Nov 2000 17:37:24 -0500 |
Hello
I am a bit confused about this comment. Are you stating that you
can write a program such as ECS that includes support for ALL of
the included interfaces in a windows type environment in LESS
time that it would take to learn ECS itself ?? I think if you are not in
the market to sell such a program and make some big money it
would be easier to learn ECS. I just look at it as another
programming environment. Actually you will find that when you get
used to it there is very little typing involved and events can be
easily debugged and traced. I think that everyone on the list has a
item they wish ECS can do more easily. The point is that if you
have a custom program then that program is only good for yourself.
I think ECS is general enough to serve most peoples needs with
minimal confusion.
