HI all. I totally agree with Peter,I have been using ecs for about 7 years now an it just (works) that's it,I am not a programmer nor do I want to be one. I still have my problems but that's what makes it fun to figure out you just have to experiment with the events.otherwise just post a note on the list an someone will help ya out !> hint tvlistiings Please do not do this. The last thing I need is a language, I just want to automate my house. Got to work and pay the bills the rest of the time. How would a language improve anything? All I would get is the ability to rewrite everything that already WORKS. The biggest improvement would be to enhance the interface to the user. (GUI ) Add more capabilities to the stuff for internet browser control. (more information on how it is all done,an the limits to it ) And support touch screens like Leopard. I would say the the second (some say first) biggest improvement would be better phone support. The Zoom modem solution just seems to keep coming back as not as robust as the rest. we do need a phone board to replace the big mouth that board is an was awsome ! Compared to writing all this stuff for myself, using ECS is way, way better. I would say that compared to all the other solutions out there ECS is better ! Just like the Eveready battery bunny it just keeps going and going and going... **THANK YOU MARK.** Paul Venables
