I would be happy to share my events with the group and hopefully somebody with more ECS coding experience may be able to tighten up the code :) Currently I am exporting the Outlook data manually but I think that I will be ably to automate this with a little VBA code in Outlook. As far as what I am going to use it for, my main goal was to automate my garbage day reminders. I live in London, Ontario Canada and we must have the most convoluted schedule going. We get garbage pickup every 6 weekdays except if there is a holiday and then it skips that day and you get pickup on the 7th weekday. I started trying to code this in ECS but thought the interface to Outlook would be easier. John. -----Original Message----- From: A.J. Did you automate the Outlook export to text file, or do you do that manually? How often? Do you use it for appointments, holidays, to-do lists? Thanks! -=A.J. -----Original Message----- From: John @ Home [mailto:jvann@home.com] Sent: Sunday, November 26, 2000 7:15 PM To: Ecs-List Subject: [ECS] MS Outlook and ECS It's OK I have figured out how to compare a text date to today's date. Thanks.
