RE: [ECS] From prototype test bed to real life testing.

I see stuff like this happen to my system about every two weeks or so. It's
caused by the transceiver modules somehow "eating up" the X-10 signals. I
usually unplug the transceiver that's known to have a problem, let it sit
for 30 minutes, and then plug it in somewhere else. I just had to do that
this morning.

Not sure if this is what's causing your problem, but it's worth a shot.

Hello to everyone.

With Mark Gilmore's help, I have been able to get my ecs and ocelot working
in test bed mode, but when
moved..............

The ECS program seemed to be working well with everything set up in one
room. I moved it to the real situation
where the equipment is 40 actual feet from one of the X10 motion sensors.
However, the electrical path is
probably 120 feet. That sensor's X10 code is not picked up by the Ocelot.
However, I have an appliance module
within 3 feet on the same circuit that does pick up the sensor's code. Any
suggestions?

Thanks,

Dennis Fenske
