I just tried to upgrade to ECS 4.4.011 from 4.3.004 to incorporate a fix in serial byte.
The new version rejected my config because of PLC Interface-2C. Is this no longer
supported?

As I am having trouble getting my IR interface working again since I moved, maybe it
is time to upgrade. What is the most user friendly device that has IR, Relay outputs,
digital and analog inputs? I don't use PLC. Any advice?

Thanks
Daniel Dubay

Hi all,
The ECS 4.4.012 BETA has been released/uploaded, and
incorporates the changes below.
Upgrade instructions are attached.
Auth code is UNCHANGED.

http://omnipotencesoftware.com/ecsb.zip (Win/complete)
http://omnipotencesoftware.com/ecsexeb.zip (Win/executables only)
http://omnipotencesoftware.com/ecslnxb.zip (Linux/complete)
http://omnipotencesoftware.com/ecslnxexeb.zip (Linux/executables only)

	4.4.012 (11/27/00)

    96)	A new Type (TOUCH-SCREEN-K-TEXT) is now supported
(for displaying text on the LEOPARD).

    97)	When resetting PHONE-INTERFACE-C, ECS now ignores errors on
"optional"
	commands (in PHNC0.SET/PHNC1.SET).

    98)	If ECS determines that PHONE-INTERFACE-C has no speaker,
it will set the default output to LINE (instead of LINE/SPEAKER).
Any subsequent attempts to route sound thru the speaker will
	trigger an error.

* 99)	As one customer reported "garbled sound" with his US ROBOTICS
modem,
ECS now implements code specific to that modem when converting .WAVs
to ADPCM (the format required by the modem) and vice-versa.
If you have a US ROBOTICS modem, please let us know the results of
	this change.

   100)	The ECS/LINUX Event Editor now supports EXPORT/IMPORT buttons,
so as
to allow the user to EXPORT the Event to a text file (e.txt), edit
this file which any desired editor, and then IMPORT the file back
	into the editor.
