Hello

Yes I was in need of a WEEDER a while back and found one from someone on
the list. While looking for one I was determined to build my own. The only
dedicated component of the weeder interface is the PREPROGRAMMED PIC
microcontroller all other components are available from digikey. I was able to buy
a preprogrammed PIC microcontroller chip from WEEDER as a single component
even after they discontinued it. I am not sure if they are still
available. If you really want to build one of these I would give them a call and see
if it is still available. The remainder of the components would probally
cost about $20.00. If the need were great I know a company that makes
circuit cards and could probally reproduce the WEEDER circuit card. (I do
electrical drafting as my profession). Hope this helps.
