I'm setting up an home-automation system in a physician office in these
days.
We had no X10 and our best choice was a BIG (50 IN/50 OUT) board
connected to the parallel port of a Panel Pc (AMD 500) with touch
screen. We are going to use a few dimmers, a few analog inputs, video
capture, SIM-CARD readers, MP3 audio, voice synth.
These have been busy days since everything should work before Xmas.
