Oh, I thought you had an alpha pager... the CID info is simply a text item.
Can you send email to your pager? That's what I do....

Im confused. How can I put specific CID info since
CID is not specific its always changing? My pager service
only works off of tones.

In your PHONE CALL item, put your specific CID info in the "MESSAGE ITEM"
box - in your example below, the 'text-a' part.

Subject: [ECS] Item : Phone Call

Ok so I have a new Cell Phone with the ability
to receive numeric pages. What I'm trying to do is
use the Item "Phone call" to call my pager service
and page me with the number of the person who just
left a message. I've got it to page me but only
with a specific number ie;5551212. I tried to
page using the text-a i.e.;
pager:ATDT6375555@5045551212#,,1,,1,,text-a,,,1,,
So looking at the above this will call my pager service
wait 5 seconds dial my cell phone number confirm its
the correct number by pressing 1 then ask to page by pressing
1 again and then dialing the number I wish to be paged with.
Now if I place a number instead of text-a it works fine but
I wish to be paged with the caller ID number. How would
I accomplish this?

Thanks for the help,

Joe Colson
