Many of us have had great success with the Byte Runner cards
(www.byterunner.com). And, they're cheap, too!

You might consider getting a couple of $15 network adapters and a $30 hub to
set up your own peer-to-peer network. It's extremely easy to do, and you'd
be able to share hard drives, printers and your Internet connection between
the machines.
