Subject: From: Date: | ECS + Short Duration PIR's Warren Hughes - SolNet Ltd Mon, 08 Jan 2001 09:58:18 +1300 |

Hi there, I have been evaluating ECS and it looks like the perfect
solution for my HA requirements. My only issue (so far) is that the
PIR's I have installed via a SECUR-16 + Ocelot when they detect motion
only open the N/C contacts briefly, instead of more expensive PIR's
which open the contacts for a good 2-3 seconds.
The short duration of the circuit open means that quite often my ECS
script "misses" the change in circuit. Have you come across this issue
before?
Many thanks,
Warren Hughes.
