Subject: From: Date: | Security exception with proxy disabled Mark Gilmore Wed, 12 Mar 2003 06:26:02 -0800 |
Wed, 12 Mar 2003 06:26:02 -0800
FYI:
With the I.E. proxy disabled, this is what happens when I try to connect:
20:43:UI: connect...
com.ms.security.SecurityExceptionEx[UI.connect]: cannot connect to
"a.direcway.com"

I guess I need to route my JAVA connection thru the same proxy.
Either that or try to get around this security check (the former seems more
plausible).
Looking into the possibility ...
