Subject: From: Date: | problem with new firefox Mark Gilmore Wed, 19 Oct 2005 14:12:41 -0700 |
The latest FIREFOX rev (just released a day or so ago) contained a
"problematic change" for the ECS JAVA code.
If you have downloaded this rev (or plan to), please update to ECS 2.3.28
(http://OmnipotenceSoftware.com/ECS_SETUP.EXE).
regards,
mark
**********************************
2.3.28 changes
1) ECS now logs *all* Property-value modifications made by users.
2) Enhanced JAVA applets for added robustness.
We should no longer see any "?"'s in applet boxes after a page loads.
3) Enhanced the IMAGE Class, such that it can also monitor a *directory*
for image files (vs just a single file name).
Hence, it may be used with cam software that writes to time-stamped
file names for each image update (as does X10 software).
4) Modified JAVA library to address a new/problematic "characteristic" of
the latest FireFox release
(hard to explain)
