afaik, not:
I used them as remote serial port on PocketPC, and to send/receive picts
and ringtones and sms, and I haven't seen any kind of notification,
outside of the client software (stack) provided by bluetooth app.
I'd be happy to find it out!
I guess it won't "appear", you have to PAIR them before, then probably
pair won't be needed any longer, and if it is, say, COM6, then COM6 will
simply be openable/not available depending on the device reachability.
