Subject: From: Date: | 2.3.37 released (with IE browser solution) Mark Gilmore Fri, 19 May 2006 12:05:12 -0400 |
Hi everyone,
ECS 2.3.37 has been uploaded to
http://OmnipotenceSoftware.com/ECS_SETUP.EXE (Win).
I'll try to update the Linux version shortly.
Update history follows.
For instructions, please see "Installing Updates" section of the help file.
Regards,
Mark Gilmore

2.3.37
Note: Unless otherwise noted, all updates are performed automatically
by ECS.EXE/REV.EXE.
1) Removed CHOICE.CHECK Property.
Now all values are always validated (to assure they are in the
choice-list) prior to being set.
If you want to allow the property to be set to *any* text string,
denote "[ANY]" in the choice list.
2) Enhanced XML-SITE Class so as to support a max of 1000 tags and to
automatically create ALIAS Objects
for every tag value.
3) Added DELETE buttons to EDIT page.
4) When IE requests an ECS Page or object-edit page, ECS now modifies
the returned HTML file as
required to make the applets load quickly.
This solution addresses a recent XP update which causes IE to
take a *long* time (or crash) when
loading pages with multiple applets.
