Subject: From: Date: | Security system A in new ECS Dan Carrington Fri, 23 Jun 2006 09:13:12 -0700 |
I have still use ECSL, but I am looking into the possibility of moving
to the new ECS. My only real concerns are two of my interface types. I
am wondering if they are still available in the new ECS.
The PLC-interface-C, the old MicroRedacs. Are they still available in
the new ECS? I can move them to an Ocelot if necessary, but at
significant cost as I have 1 small and 2 of the larger style MicroRedacs
in service. That makes for 5 new ocelot modules I whould have to buy.
The Security-IFC-A and B. I seem to remember hearing that the
Security-IFC-B was removed for new ECS. But is the Security-IFC-A still
available under the new ECS? In the old Vision Plus, it was possible to
have two receivers on the panel for better reception. Is that possible
with the FA403? Or is it possible to have more than one Security-IFC-A
defined on ECS? How many sensors can I have in the new ECS? Do they
still report "not responding' when they time out so I can determine if
the sensors have left the area?
thanks a bunch!
