Use Ethereal to observe traffic (or tcpdump). Ethereal will require
the user to watch the traffic. You can use tcpdump from the command
line to watch traffic but it will take knowledge of IP, tcpdump and
lots of Unix tools for filtering. There may be another program
that can be used (such as netflow) to record the IP sessions. I
had some trouble setting it up in the past with mrtg.
