morning neil,

by "enroll" do you mean "link" ?
if so, i provide detailed linking instructions in the
PowerLinc manual section (edit PowerLinc Object and scroll down).
if it still fails after your linking is verified,
please provide explicit details and main.log
if not, what is "enroll" ?

by "modes", i assume that you mean states (dim level or off/on).

> Can ECS check the CRC to make sure that the PLC code is valid?

no, as ecs (or any such software) never sees the CRC (it's apparently
handled in the hardware).

>Can ECS download new code to the PLC?

no

give me a call if more convenient (423-745-0026).
but wait an hour or so, because i have a guest.

later,
mark
