hi everyone,
i have just uploaded a beta version of ecs.exe/ecs.bin to 
http://OmnipotenceSoftware.com/x.zip ,
in which the "Is Set To" and all "Becomes" operators now also apply 
to updates made **by the Script**.
in the current release, these only apply if the change was made *externally*.
for example:
         if  {a true condition}
         then  x  set  2
         . . .
         if x  becomes 2 ; this will be TRUE (in current release, 
this would be true only if X was set to 2 elsewhere)
         then ...

i have tested it to my satisfaction, but would appreciate some 
outside testing (esp as the scripting engine is so critical).
if you care to try this out, please report your findings.
