Hi Mark,
yes, all the Barionet "extension" units can be also used standalone and
have an RS-485 port which talks standard Modbus/RTU.
Any product/software which can talk Modbus/RTU should be able to work with
these devices (including ECS of course).
IO12: US retail price is $195 (the IO12 is 12 inputs AND 12 current
sourcing industrial grade DV outputs, each can soucrce
1Amp at 24V, there is a limitation on the total current).
R6: US retail price is $139, this is a "relay" unit providing 6 relays
with switchover contacts (product is UL listed UL and can be used
to switch AC line voltage, 10Amps per relay).
X8: US retail price only $70, this is the "cheap" wiegand reader/temp
sensor/contact closure/analog input/digital output unit.
It provides 8 versatile inputs/outputs which can do all kind of things,
including talking onewire to a connected DS18(B)20 temp sensor,
measuring analog voltages (0..5V), sensing contact closures, or even
interfacing to a Wiegand reader.
Greetings !
Johannes
Hi Johannes,
can the IO12 act alone (i.e without the barionet) ?
what is it's retail price ?
btw, the IO12 data sheet notes 12 digital-inputs, but no inputs are
mentioned on your web page.
thanks,
Mark Gilmore
