Not sure what you are looking for here but if you are looking for some kind
of approval/support from the *NIX community you have mine.  I use FreeBSD
(could just as easily be Linux) to perform some log management and to back
up ECS.  This takes time to move files back and forth between W2K and
FreeBSD and it would be nice to be able to remove yet another box from the
server cabinet.
