Subject: From: Date: | "start bit" ? Mark Gilmore Wed, 03 Sep 2003 14:39:29 -0700 |
Wed, 03 Sep 2003 14:39:29 -0700
Hi all,
I could use some help here:
I am attempting to communicate with a 232/485 bus whose serial
transmission format requires "1 start and 1 stop bit".
What (pray tell) is a "start bit" ?
I have never heard of such an animal (only a stop bit).
Perhaps they mean 2 STOP bits ?
Thanks :-),
Mark Gilmore
