Well, as far as I know I'd say it's a bad choice.

You should stay above 1000 or so, but at times higher ports are stopped 
by firewall. So, I'd choose something around 1010, to begin with.
Ports below 1000 are more or less reserved for standard services. You 
know you can go up to 65535.
