Subject: From: Date: | VNC/Linux bootup issue Mark Gilmore Fri, 26 Sep 2003 06:15:41 -0700 |
Fri, 26 Sep 2003 06:15:41 -0700
I executed these commands and rebooted:
chkconfig --add vncserver
chkconfig --levels 345 vncserver on
I then verified that vncserver had been executed by inspecting /var/boot/log
("vncserver startup succeeded")
However, the server was not working for some reason (connect failure from
Win PC).
When I manually entered "vncserver", it worked fine.
So I can only assume that it was not run *correctly* on startup.
Any ideas ?
Thanks,
Mark Gilmore
