Hi Rob,
Thanks loads for the offer :-).
I may take you up on this later.
My current plan is to install a minimal RH9 on a spare PC's hard disk (I 
have the RH9 install CDs),
assure that I am under 650M, and then test it with ECS.
Then if it works, my "only" task is to make a bootable CD from the 
resulting HD distribution,
*assuming* that I can somehow tell the CD version to use a floppy or ram 
disk for all
write-able files. But this latter task might be a serious problem (??).
