Hi Bill,
I would have completed/released the Linux version had I not gotten so
bogged down with this Knoppix startup problem (which is for a private-label).
I finally posted my question to a Knoppix user's forum.
Should have done that a week ago (but I thought I was "almost there" the 
entire time).
