Re: [ecs] Reliving network hardships under Suse

Do you use DHCP, or statically assigned IP addresses?

What is the output if you type /sbin/ifconfig and if you type
/sbin/route? How about /sbin/arp?

On Windows, what is the output if you type "IPCONFIG" in a command line
window? How about "ROUTE PRINT" and "ARP -a"?

I'm sure you already checked the trivial things: is it plugged in, does
the hub have power, did you use straight-through cables rather than
crossover, etc.
