"text2wave" is what i am looking for.
but i *suspect* that this is really "text2wave.sh"
(though both are listed in that rpm that i can't get into).
This is text2wave.sh:
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/*checkout*/openh323/contrib/openivr/text2wave?content-type=text%2Fplain&rev=1.1
When I attempt to run it, it spits up complaining about the leading ";" chars
(which are meant to be comments - but NOT to bash).
There is something *very* basic that I am missing here.
