Subject: From: Date: | Problem hearing playback from voice-modem Mark Gilmore Wed, 12 Nov 2003 15:20:23 -0800 |

Hi all,
I doubt that anyone can help with this, but I figure it's worth a shot :-):
I am attempting to place a call to deliver a recorded message
(via ECS and an AOpen voice-modem).
2 problems:
1) After dialing, the modem returns an "OK" *before* I answer the phone.
As I recall from old legacy days, this should not occur until the
phone is answered,
or the phone rings 6 or so times. But I *suspect* this problem is due to
the fact that I'm calling a CELL phone.
2) When I answer the phone, I do *not* hear the message.
But I know that it's playing because I can hear it from the speaker.
I've tried every "destination" code there is (speaker/line/handset/etc).
Thanks,
Mark Gilmore
