Hi everyone,

http://OmnipotenceSoftware.com/ECS_SETUP.EXE (Win)
and http://OmnipotenceSoftware.com/ecs_linux.zip (Linux).
Update history and instructions attached.
Regards,

Installing Updates
    Instructions for Windows
  1. In ECS, select the System Page and set Windows Backup.Control to Execute.
This will copy all ECS files/folders to .\OLD.
  2. Stop ECS.
  3. Download and execute ECS_SETUP.EXE.
  4. Closely review the revision history, and follow any additional instructions.
  5. Close your browser.
  6. Start ECS. ECS will then detect that an update has been installed and execute REV.EXE to modify any files as needed. Upon completion, it will prompt before continuing.
    Instructions for Linux
  1. In ECS, select the System Page and set Linux Backup.Control to Execute.
FYI: This will execute backup.sh, which contains the following commands (in case you have no such Object or file):
            mkdir ./old
            mkdir ./old/images
            mkdir ./old/owapi
            mkdir ./old/owapi/lib

            cp * ./old/.
            cp ./images/* ./old/images/.
            cp ./owapi/lib/* ./old/owapi/lib/.
  2. Stop ECS.
  3. Download ecs_linux.zip.
  4. Start a terminal session and enter the following:
          cd ecs
          update.sh
  5. Closely review the revision history, and follow any additional instructions.
  6. Close your browser.
  7. Start ECS. ECS will then detect that an update has been installed and execute rev.bin to modify any files as needed.
Upon completion, it will prompt before continuing.

NOTE: If you wish to startup with another browser, change the browser name in linux_browser_startup.sh.

2.3.09 12/11/03: 1) Added GNUPlot.Plot-Count Property to denote the number of points to plot (only applicable of Data-Start is START and Data-Stop is END. 2) Eliminated GNUPlot.Samples/Time Property (value now determined by ECS). 3) Changed way in which ECS assigns web-server/command/stream TCP/IP ports: ECS now looks for a free "triad" of ports, starting at 2080/2081/2082, and incrementing each by 10, until a free triad is found. This "dynmaic" approach should eliminate any problem with ports that are in-use or blocked via a firewall (as a number of Linux users reported).
