I have installed this update on my machine and all is working fine here.  I
do recall though that I had read somewhere that firewall settings were
automatically set if you were using the WinXP firewall before.  I don't as I
have  a different firewall so maybe that is why.  Had you tried disabling
the firewall for a test?
