Subject:	Port mapping

Hi

I recall that one of the changes introduced in ecs some time ago was the
ability to scan ports from 3000 onwards and ecs would settle on a "free"
port. I notice that sometimes it chooses 3000 and sometimes 3010. Does ecs
randomly choose a port or is it based on something? I have a shortcut on my
other machines that access ecs. Do I have to keep changing the port number
in the url? Is there a way to force it to remain at, say, 3000 if I wanted
to?

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Joe
