Rick,

I've sat and watched the memory usage and haven't found anything unusal 
at all.
The HAL app, only other one running, isn't setup to do any"listening" in 
any way and uses almost most no resources. Typically the CPU is at about 
1 or 2% usage.
The ECS cfg hasn't been changed, other than re-arranging stuff on group 
screens, in a very
long time.

This really is an out-of-the-blue thing. I haven't tried re-installing 
ECS. Maybe I'll see if I even have
an installer to try.
