Subject: From: Date: | RE: [ecs] wondering if this I.E. tweak is possible (can't find it anywhere on web) William C Biggs, MD Sat, 2 Oct 2004 16:36:09 -0500 |
Mark,
Why use Firefox (Mozilla) rather than I.E. ?
It has much superior find capabilities, and is vastly more secure.

Yes Mark, you can ditch Microsoft and feel good about it.

Subject: [ecs] wondering if this I.E. tweak is possible (can't find it
anywhere on web)
When I click "Find" and enter a search string, that string is *discarded*
if the string is not found.
Hence, I have to retype it *every time* I want to search for it in other
pages - *very* aggravating.
Might anyone know if there is a tweak to force I.E. to preserve the string
I enter, regardless ?
Thanks !
