Subject: From: Date: | auto-completion of web page prompt entries Mark Gilmore Thu, 25 Nov 2004 09:37:40 -0800 |
Thu, 25 Nov 2004 09:37:40 -0800
Hi all,
Having just changed from one XP PC to another,
I find that I am forced to retype all responses in web page prompts.
For example, I have to enter my entire name when logging into EBay.
On my other XP PC, all I had to type was "m" and it will fill in the rest.
I *do* have auto-complete set on in I.E., and auto-complete *does* work
when entering urls at the address prompt
(but nowhere else).
Lowering my security from medium to low had no effect.
Any ideas ?
Thanks !
Mark Gilmore
