Subject: From: Date: | Re: [ecs] fa403 ? Dan Carrington Wed, 02 Feb 2005 08:24:53 -0800 |
I am still using legacy, but would like the option to still move to new
some day if I found something in it I needed that I can't do in legacy.
I never moved forward as things were working nicely and I didn't want
to have to rebuild lenghty programing.
I am still using Vision Plus, and had always kept the thought that I
could move forward with the FA403 if I needed. I use the wireless
security sensors extensively. If it is not a trouble to leave it in,
please do.
Or is there any other way to sense cars or people coming and going now
days? I still use the transmitters for security where I can't get wires
easily and for placing in cars to know they come and go, and thus who's
home. I find this car sensing absolutely necessary to my automation. I
don't know of any other way to sense this. Using Inovonics receivers
that feed a contact closure with alarm, can not send "not responding".
Thus the use of the Vision Plus and someday the thought of moving to FA403.
I don't want to have to have people hit buttons as they come and go.
Where's the automation in that!
thanks
dan
