Hi Dan,
I thought about a RFID card, carried in the wallet or anyway in the
pocket, with sensors in/into each door. But it's kind of too complicated.
Maybe at least one, in the main door, could tell you "who" is entering
the house, and modify greetings and or light/heating settings (at least,
until he/she is alone...)
The other way could be a kind of pattern recognition with cameras, but
this is far more complicated (and hardware demanding)
