dmesg will display but dmesg -c will display and clear it. You may
also see it in /var/log/message (or whatever your syslog daemon has
configured for the following from /etc/syslog.conf
:
# Log anything (except mail) of level info or higher.
# Don't log private authentication messages!
*.info;mail.none;news.none;authpriv.none;cron.none /var/log/messages
