Subject: From: Date: | linux question (for ECS/Knoppix CD) Mark Gilmore Wed, 09 Feb 2005 06:05:35 -0800 |
The user needs to be able to copy dynamic files (main.cfg, etc) to a flash
drive and/or hard disk.
I have this all working at boot/shutdown (when /etc/inittab runs as super
user).
But I would like the user to be able to do saves manually (via a button on
the desktop).
The problem is that I can't use the "mount" cmd unless I'm super-user.
Any ideas ?
Perhaps I can create a "super-user executable" ?
Thanks !
Mark Gilmore
