Subject: From: Date: | Fwd: linux question (for ECS/Knoppix CD) Mark Gilmore Wed, 09 Feb 2005 09:08:57 -0800 |
I note that when I plug in the flash drive, a "Hard Disk Partition [sda1]"
pops up on the Desktop.
If I click it, it *mounts*/displays the contents of the drive.
Hence, I this button is doing what I want (i.e. using the "mount" command,
which *I* cannot do unless I am superuser).
Now if I can only fidure out what *its* doing.
But the properties for this button give no indication of what command (or
shell) is being executed when I click it.
