sudo actually isn't all that complicated once you get used to it, but it
is probably not what you want anyway.
Instead, where you specify the device in /etc/fstab, just add the option
"user" or "owner" (do a man fstab for the exact description of these
options). This will allow either any user, or the owner of the device
file, to mount and umount that device.
