Subject: From: Date: | stumped on a linux KDE question Mark Gilmore Sat, 19 Feb 2005 17:34:39 -0800 |
Knoppix/KDE comes up with 4 available "desktops" (as denoted by 4 little
boxes in the taskbar area).
If you click a box, the corresponding desktop is displayed.
Question:
*How* do I execute a task in a designated desktop ?
I assumed it was via the -display arg:
xterm -display localhost:0.x (where x is the desktop #).
But apparently not.
Thanks,
Mark Gilmore
