Subject: From: Date: | New ECS & Napco Gemini Fully Robotic And Networked Kastle Fri, 4 Mar 2005 07:02:21 -0500 |
I am still running Ecs Legacay 4.0.17. I want to move up to the new
version, but my big holdback is the Napco Gemini alarm panel I have which is
not supported by the new version. I have 35 zones and pretty much anything
that is remotely security related is hooked up to the alarm panel.
Does anyone have some scripts or code they would like to share that provides
basic functionality for the Napco panel in the new ECS? I just need to
detect when zones open and close, and when the alarm is armed and disarmed.
The entire alarm system is almost new. I bought my first Napco system 6
years ago, but when my house took a direct lightning strike last year, it
got fried, and the insurance adjuster (knowing nothing about computers,
electronics or automation) insisted I replace it with another Napco instead
of a Omni or Home Vision.
