Homeseer has probably changed considerably since you last looked. I
went to it when I needed better Napco performance than I could get from
ecsl. The difference between the version I started with, and the
current is quite large with virtually all the bugs resolved. Web and
voice are probably it's strongest suit along with its plugin architecture.
However, I still like the scripting ability of ecsl/ECS compared to
Homeseer. The problem now is device support.
My issue with Napco may finally disappear, but I'm still struggling a
bit with the Davis station as ECS only supports Peet Bros. My ecsl
system is still running fine which makes the decision even harder.
Eventually I want to be running either ECS or Homeseer and not a hybrid
mix of ECS, ecsl and Homeseer.
