Might want to try deleting the shares from the Windows 2000 machine,
then re-enabling them. One of the MS software patches requires you to do
this, or you are unable to access that machine from some computers.

still you have to use the same name (even if with no pasw), on the
"server machine" (ie. win2000) as on XP.
